so my friends' apartment flooded. the pipes near the hot water heater exploded putting inches on the ground, leaking out of the ceiling and electrical sockets, and ruining many of their worldly belongings. and the worst part of the situation is that their complex adminstation refuses to do anything about it. management's best offer so far is to let them move to a different apartment in the lot.

but they refuse to pay for any of their stuff to be moved. not only that, but in order to move into a new place, they've gotta put down another deposit, another cat deposit, and then wait for the deposits they already paid to come back. how uncool is that?

anyway, we're definately not done with them, yet. if anybody out there knows anything about this sort of thing, please post. late.
